This site is the archive of the MA in Visual Culture Studies at Chinese University of Hong Kong, which was opened in 2007 and was closed and integrated with the MA in Intercultural Studies in 2020. The MA in Visual Culture Studies built a unique theory/practice curriculum around analytical knowledge and audio-visual media production to study Contemporary Art, Digital Media, Virtual Reality and Immersive Media and Film/Documentary cultures. On this site you can find information about the different courses that were taught 2007-2020, extra-curricular events and student projects that were produced.
